Music Idea's

We had to come up with fitting music that would suit the movie in its Genre and the humor also had to be in their as well. having zombie related music playing in a zombie comedy movie.

Music Ideas

The ideas that we had for our film is a very high tempo song but also maybe one that Ironically has a link, either in the name of the song or the title, to zombies, horror or disastrous events.

For the only film that was related to the genre we wanted to do, Shaun of the Dead, the song had an ironic twist in the name which continued throughout the film, either with the action occurring or the events happening.

Through this I Have learnt about the difficulty in picking the necessary song for our film and how it can relate to what is happening.

Ideas for songs for our Film:
  1. Evil Walks – ACDC (This was our choice for the opening two minutes)
  2. "The Blue Wrath" – I Monster
  3. "Mister Mental" – The Eighties Matchbox B-Line Disaster
  4. "Meltdown" – Ash
  5. "Kernkraft 400" – Zombie Nation

The Script

the scrip was hard to come up with due to the fact we had to balance things out in a way so it seemed humorous and eerie at the same time.

[Production Credits role. As the last couple come up, the background changes from the black to the view of the moors. As the last one goes off screen we focus in on the runner going by]

Runner: Ohh! (Wiping sweat of their forehead)
Creature: UGHHHH! (Quietly)
(Hear music playing on the person’s iPod)
Creature: UGGHHH! (Louder than previous)
[Runner stops]
Runner: Hello? Anyone there?
(Silence)
(Runner carries on running)
Creature: UUUUUUUGGGGHHHHHHHH!
Runner: (Looks Behind) AHHHHHHHHH!! (Starts running)
Creature: (Leaps up and pouncing towards the runner) UGH!

[Cuts to earlier Main Character Will is Listening to music]

Will: (Doing a downwards kick) kihap!!! Oh that felt good!
[Goes downstairs to find Dom]
Dom: (Over the noise of him playing a video game) Alright, what’s up?
Will: Come on its time to get ready to go out

(Music then starts up as character get ready and credits roll in)

What I have learned from this task is:
* Its hard to star off with trying to think of a script that would meet the standard of the story you have plotted
* As you think and plan out with your partner it all goes well and fits perfectly.
