Question 5

What elements of your text would attract the target audience?

we have used the typical humor you see in everyday comedy zombie movies. we used Shaun of the dead as a typical target. using silly jokes and lines. though we never copied them. but we made are lines into something maybe, something they would say. everyday teenagers are into horrors and comedy's. bring social groups from all over the place together. we used both these elements because they seem to be the strongest genres out of all the rest.  the style of very simple. we didn't go over board with editing. or action. there are only three people max in our opening. so the audience wouldn't get completely confused if we had over ten people on the screen in the space of two minutes!
the language is mostly in the body. the two actors say barely any lines. the female only says one line. so you could say that, she a women who says little of her self or of others. the male says more than one. but he speaks about what he thinks. he knows he in trouble when he witnesses the un dead. and says a very cheesy line. which younger views might find funny. he slacks off the pans, as he trying to find the right one. so older views might find that funny. we kept it balanced in the ways of the audience.
the representation of the characters is basic. you have your basic, snobby female, who ends up getting herself killed. as she doesn't know who to defend herself. so shes easy target for the un dead to get. the male is portrayed as a typical cowardly hero.
we have no other reference to any other type of media. it was in production but we forgot to place it in at the beginning, when the male character wakes up.  it would of been the news. saying who there have been numerous grizzly murders. then tuning over to a chirpy advert.
